Does link trading help in SEO?

Perhaps the million dollar question in the SEO driven world is whether search engine crawlers and spiders are irresistibly drawn to traded links or they tend to ignore them. The question which can raise acrimonious debates due to the top most level of confidentiality maintained by the Search engines can never be answered in a few words. Its really unknown whether we are knowledgeable enough to comment on it.

Lets try to analyze it in a simpler way, where link trading helps in increasing back links. As Google and most of the search engines have been continuously emphasizing on relevant links only, mere link trading without noticing the relevancy factor can hardly propel you to a victory.

Unfortunately most of the link trading automated software fails to analyze the relevance factor and start submitting links virtually at all websites, where they find a chance to intrude.

This is a dangerous way, which can even kill your websites as Google or other search engines may even slap a ban on you.

Why not go by the hard working way, whereby you need to submit the link in different websites by sending request or by paying money? Its better to be in mental peace, rather than hopping for an instant victory.
